Food Distribution

Part of education in this part of the world is the feeding of children. We are partnering with Convoy of Hope to develop an advanced approach to feeding the hungry. Family to family, village to village, and country to country, the nutritional needs vary greatly, and this is an area where one size does not fit all. Optimized feeding provides the nutrition that is desperately required at a fraction the cost of random food distribution. Even in America, without individualized testing, we do not know what kids need and just try to provide a balanced meal and hope for the best. We can do better, and with our cooperation with Convoy of Hope we envision customized diets for school children.

Right now we are in the development stage. Bunda is as far from the coast as is possible, on the opposite side of the Seringeti. It is very expensive to ship containers into the area, so instead we must focus on local food development, which is better for the community anyway, even if more work.

Any donation toward the school feeding projects would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to make a one-time donation, or provide monthly support.

We at Bethel Green Outreach thank you as all those laboring in Tanzania to make this dream into a reality.
