It all starts with grass-roots education, and changes in methods, resulting in higher yields and new crops. But this does not come overnight, and it is certainly not a one-size-fits-all solution. Soil, weather and local conditions have to be factored in to the decisions what is best for a community.
Right now we are in the development stage. Bunda is as far from the coast as is possible, but has rich land, and plenty of water. Our dream is to team with Convoy of Hope and develop a regional agricultural center at our facility. From there, school gardens, agricultural clubs, and farmer training can begin.
